The Chinese accident emergency response system will be put into operation in 2016
Similar to European eCall Chinese accident emergency response system is currently being tested in four regions of China, said Kevin Lee, Assistant Secretary General of Telematic Industry Application Alliance (TIAA).

“According to our plans the system’s standards will be presented to the involved ministries and departments for further approval. In 2016 we will be able to put this system into operation”, said Kevin Lee at the VI International Congress “ERA GLONASS” in Moscow.

Previously reported that Russian accident emergency response system “ERA GLONASS” is entered into commercial operation on January 1st, 2015.

Automotive supplier Continental has unveiled a multifunctional smartphone terminal (MFST) to improve the integration of smartphones in the car.
