Moscow car owners which vehicles are equipped by GLONASS DVRs will be able to participate in an experiment on the connection to the urban video control system, according to core publications. “Private car DVRs will be connected voluntarily. The pilot project covers 40 DVRs equipped with a microphone for sound recording at a distance of 10 meters, IR lighting, having GPS or GLONASS. The image should be colored and transmitted at least 16 frames per second. DVRs also have to operate up to four hours without recharging, "- said in one of the messages.
The first version of unmanned truck “KAMAZ” with satellite navigation systems based on GLONASS may be manufactured by 2027, according to core publications. “The works are already underway. Partner companies of the manufacture would prescribe special algorithms for recognizing video sequence, create artificial intelligence and will complement trucks by navigation systems, sensors, radars and other elements. Approximate term of unmanned trucks appearance on the market is 2025 – 2027 years. For implementation of this project is required about 17-18 billion RUB,” – said in one of the articles.
On questions of The “GLONASS Herald” journal about existing domestic developments drones and unmanned aerial vehicles as well as spheres of their application has answered Alexey Muraviev, the representative of General Designer of user’s equipment. “I don’t have full information about all stakeholders involved in design, development and application of UAV. I would like to say yes, such market exists in Russia and is actively developing. I’m not talking about “toys” but as for models for serious business the sales in civil sector may be estimated in 50 billion RUB (full market estimated is 300 billion RUB. and the civil is about 10-20% of it). There are about 30 companies in Russia are engaged in developing of UAV. The leaders among them are: Tupolev JSC, Russian Aircraft Corporation «MiG», Sukhoi Company (JSC), The Federal State Unitary Enterprise «State Research Institute of Aviation Systems», Radio Engineering Corporation “VEGA” (JSC), Design Bureau “Lutch” (JSC). They are mainly manufactured military UAV.
“New level of development and implementation multisystem user’s equipment will be visible in a few years, after deployment of orbital constellations European Galileo system and the Chinese BeiDou” has marked Alexey Muraviev, the representative of General Designer of user’s equipment during the Conference “Development of international cooperation and application of global navigation systems solutions for improvement of transport and cargo security” which was held in the framework of the International Forum “Security and safety technologies”.
“Multisystem equipment allows avoid dependence from the single provider of global satellite navigation system and in addition to increase equipment protection from interferences” said Alexey Muraviev, the representative of General Designer of user’s equipment during the Conference “Development of international cooperation and application of global navigation systems solutions for improvement of transport and cargo security” which was held in the framework of the International Forum “Security and safety technologies”.
The first versions of unmanned trucks KAMAZ with GLONASS-based satellite navigation systems could be manufactured by 2027, according to specialized issues.
“The work is being run already. The companies – partners of the plant will design special algorithms of video sequence recognition, create artificial intelligence and equip the trucks with navigation systems, sensors, radars and other elements. Duration guideline of unmanned trucks appearance is 2025-2027. Implementation of this project will cost towards 17-18 billion rubles”, said in one of the articles. It is checked out that up-to-date navigation technologies and control system will help the car to ride by a definitive route without a driver. First of all the system could be demanded by force structures.
