The Russian accident emergency response system will be a good platform for implementing a large number of additional services for auto insurance market as well as for other consumers, said Evgeniy Belyanko, Vise-President of GLONASS Union.

"Infrastructure" ERA-GLONASS "- is infrastructure of the state automated information system that operates on uncorrectable information.  Accordingly, based on this system, we may build a large number of additional services focused on legally relevant information", - said Evgeniy Belyanko at the 4th international Congress "ERA-GLONASS".

According to him, the equipment of national emergency response system, in particular, can be used in auto insurance of civil liability, as well as in the charging system for heavy vehicles weighing more than 12 tons.

The first version of unmanned truck “KAMAZ” with satellite navigation systems based on GLONASS may be manufactured by 2027, according to core publications. “The works are already underway. Partner companies of the manufacture would prescribe special algorithms for recognizing video sequence, create artificial intelligence and will complement trucks by navigation systems, sensors, radars and other elements. Approximate term of unmanned trucks appearance on the market is 2025 – 2027 years. For implementation of this project is required about 17-18 billion RUB,” – said in one of the articles.

Russian-manufactured unmanned trucks with satnav will appear by 2027
The first versions of unmanned trucks KAMAZ with GLONASS-based satellite navigation systems could be manufactured by 2027, according to specialized issues.
“The work is being run already. The companies – partners of the plant will design special algorithms of video sequence recognition, create artificial intelligence and equip the trucks with navigation systems, sensors, radars and other elements. Duration guideline of unmanned trucks appearance is 2025-2027. Implementation of this project will cost towards 17-18 billion rubles”, said in one of the articles. It is checked out that up-to-date navigation technologies and control system will help the car to ride by a definitive route without a driver. First of all the system could be demanded by force structures.

Europe’s EGNOS augmentation system sharpens the accuracy and reliability of GPS signals so they can safely be used for landing approaches across a growing number of European airports. But aviation is a global enterprise — so the aim is to develop a seamless network of augmentation systems in future. That is the task of an international group of experts, the Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) Interoperability Working Group (IWG), whose 27th  meeting took place in Tampa, Florida, September 8-10, hosted by the Institute of Navigation.
